Job Opportunities
From time to time, we do look for graders and assistants who help us run the center. These are part time positions as our center is open for only two days a week, Monday and Friday 4:00 to 7:00pm.
We consider our staff as our business partners. We look for people who understand and believe in Kumon method. Who have either directly or indirectly (family, friends etc.) experienced Kumon and its benefits. Who can be a spokesperson for our center and can help us spread the word and help us grow our center. We like to reward our assistants by offering our referral bonus program to them.
Below are the job descriptions for two types of roles. But we like to rotate our staff as needed. So strong consideration would be given to candidates who are flexible and can put on different hats at different times.

Graders/Assistants
Your primary responsibilities include:
- grading the students work
- data entry
- work sheet pulling and preparing students folders for next center day
- other misc. work related to center operations
Desired skills:
- be self-motivated and highly organized,
- be able to juggle multiple tasks,
- enjoy working with young students
- have excellent academic background
- punctual and be on time
Junior Kumon Assistants
Your primary responsibilities include:
- working with pre-schoolers
- instructing basic math and pre-reading skills to these children
- manage multiple students at one time
Desired skills:
- strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- good communication skills
- must enjoy working with young children, ages 3-7 years
- must have lot of patience
This role is idealy suited for a mom or a college student. You must have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children.
