Job Opportunities
We are looking to hire assistants to help us run the center. These are part time positions. You will be required to come to the center two days a week, Monday and Friday, between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm.
We consider our staff as our partners. We look for people who understand and believe in Kumon method of learning. Who can be a spokesperson for our center, can help us spread the word in the community and help us grow the center.
Below are the job descriptions for two types of roles. Strong consideration would be given to candidates who are flexible, can juggle multiple tasks, and can put on different hats at different times.
These jobs are ideally suited for high school students or moms looking for part time work.

Graders/Assistants
Your primary responsibilities include:- grading students work,
- preparing students folders for next class,
- data entry
- and other misc. work related to center operations.
You should be:
- self-motivated,
- highly organized,
- able to juggle multiple tasks,
- punctual and on time,
- and excellent in studies.
Junior Kumon Assistants
This role requires working with younger children, ages 3 to 5 years. You must have a passion for making a difference in the lives of these young children.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- working with preschoolers and kindergarteners,
- instructing basic math and pre-reading skills to these children.
- managing multiple students (up to 4) at one time.
You should be:
- self-motivated,
- highly organized,
- multi-tasking,
- good in communication,
- very patient
- and must enjoy working with young children, ages 3-5 years.
